Chappie (stylized as CHAPPiE) is an upcoming American science fiction film directed by Neill Blomkamp. The screenplay, written by Blomkamp and Terri Tatchell, is based on Blomkamp's 2004 short film Tetra Vaal. The film stars Sharlto Copley, Hugh Jackman, Dev Patel, Sigourney Weaver and South African rap group Die Antwoord. The film is set to be released on March 6, 2015.
After great success of 'District 9' with critics and box-office numbers, but Elysium was not failed to get same response. Alien, Space-city and now Humanbot, he feels like human but he is not human. And he has to go under extreme situation of life-style and politics of world to survive. Will he able to change people perspectives about about human thinking robots ?
Chappie opens in U.S. theaters on March 6th, 2015.
