The official logo for the Frozen short has been unveiled with the news that it will be attached to prints of Walt Disney Pictures’old classic live-action Cinderella movie next year.A feature-full-length film sequel to Frozen – Disney Animation’s billion dollar-grossing animated fairy tale/princess musical sensation – might well be in development (or so Elsa voice actor Idina Menzel has indicated), but for now the only confirmed Frozen-related big screen project is the short, Frozen Fever.
Frozen directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee returned to helm Frozen Fever, which focuses on Elsa and Kristoff’s (Jonathan Groff) attempt to throw Anna the best birthday party ever. The piece will also feature a brand new original song by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.
Here’s the official announcement:
RELEASE PLANS REVEALED: NEW SHORT “FROZEN FEVER” TO OPEN IN THEATERS IN FRONT OF “CINDERELLA” ON MARCH 13, 2015
Walt Disney Animation Studios’ all-new short “Frozen Fever,” which welcomes Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf back to the big screen, will open in theaters onMarch 13, 2015, in front of Disney’s “Cinderella,” a live-action feature inspired by the classic fairy tale.
Directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, and produced by Peter Del Vecho and Aimee Scribner, with an all-new original song by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, “Frozen Fever” marks the first project reuniting the Oscar®-winning original team from Disney’s “Frozen.”

The Frozen franchise has thus far spawned merchandising, soundtrack, book TV, game, and home entertainment spin-offs, including 3 million role-play princess dresses sold and enough youngsters singing “Let It Go” to propel Disney’s Frozen karaoke app to #1 among iPad downloads in 100 countries.
HERE ARE THE NEW POSTERS OF CINDERELLA :
The film stars Lily James as Ella ("Cinderella"), with Cate Blanchett as Lady Tremaine (The Wicked Stepmother), Richard Madden as Kit, Sophie McShera as Drizella, Holliday Grainger as Anastasia and Helena Bonham Carter as The Fairy Godmother.
The film is scheduled to be released on March 13, 2015.
